I've been in Maginhawa street before when I visited The Nook and since then I really wanted to go back and try some other cafe's in the area but I just didn't have the time (I guess) and it's far from my place (I live in Makati and QC is already far for me). That's why when I got the chance to go to QC last Friday (to visit my partner's grandma) I took that opportunity to go to Maginhawa since it's only one ride away from my partner's grandma's house.
It was our first out of the country experience and we were brave enough ( I guess ) not to sign up to any tour packages, instead we did a "Do It Yourself" kind of tour as we really wanted to explore and experience a foreign land on our own. The good thing about a DIY tour is that you get to have the freedom to choose where to go, what to do, no need to wake up early in the morning, no cramming, no schedule to follow.
I was strolling around the net in my quest to look for a unique, cozy and feel good-vibes cafe around the Metro when suddenly this cafe caught my attention. Cafe Travel, from the name itself one will obviously assume that it is a travel themed cafe decorated with different things that represents different places on earth or stuff such as passport, plane, luggage, backpack and other usual traveler things. But it's kinda not like it.
